We’ll we’ve made it through the hottest part of the Rotary year, here in District 6970, and dare I say, it feels like fall is just around the corner. We have many exciting things going on around the district and I hope to join many of you through this Rotary holiday season.
As you know, October 24th was World Polio Day. It’s important that we remember our number one initiative as Rotarians and together, we will soon reach the end and will be able to announce that the world is finally Polio free. Please continue to support Polio Plus through your donations and education of others.

I had the chance to attend an early World Polio Day celebration with the Beaches Rotaract. I had a great time and learned new things about the Rotary Polio Eradication Initiative. I had some good cake too!
