Minutarian Week 10; September 6, 2022

I am honored to be working with you and your club and I share my gratitude for your efforts. I hope you and your family enjoyed the long weekend! We appreciate your hard work throughout the year and know that no car can run forever without fuel. We hope you took some well-earned time off to recharge your batteries and enjoyed a happy Labor Day weekend with your family and friends!

Reminder that for the second year in a row Rotary International has collaborated with Kiwanis, Lions and Optimists to Celebrate Community during the week of September 11-17. This public effort encourages clubs to reach out to one another to work together on projects that improve and benefit your local community.

RYE IS BACK!  That’s right Rotary Youth Exchange is back after the two-year hiatus from Covid.  The RYE District Team has started recruiting talented High School students from the District that want to have a life changing experience.  We are currently seeking both recruits to go on Exchange for the 2023-2024 school year as well as clubs wanting to host students from other countries.  We are asking all applications to go on Exchange be turned in by November 1 so get started on those applications.  Please feel free to look over our website at www.RYE6970.org  if you have any questions or reach out to the District Chair Scott Burgess at sburgess@ryese.org.
