Rethreaded is an organization that exists for the complete restoration of survivors of human trafficking and is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
We will be working with them on an exciting project at our zone summit this year, and you can help.
Here’s how:
From now until our summit in September, our district is collecting T-shirts. Any T-shirts that are cotton or of a cotton blend can be donated. It does not matter the size, condition, or color; they can all be used.
Once these shirts are collected in Jacksonville at the Summit, we will be sorting the shirts by color and then by size. These will then be folded to Rethreaded’s specifications and packaged and transported to Rethreaded’s headquarters. Once at Rethreaded’s headquarters, every shirt collected will provide meaningful work for survivors of human trafficking. Not a single scrap goes to waste, meaning nobody has to feel guilty about donating that bachelorette trip t-shirt that hangs in the back of their closet.
